Hi Helen,

Sounds interesting and fun. When is the deadline for applying? And how many "positions" are there, is it just the one?
Thanks
Celine

Blogless me

It is again me. I don't know what I did wrong the previous time, but just saw that my name is not clickable, so here is the link to my blog:

What a wonderful opportunity! I would love to submit a block. Does it matter that I do not use a machine? I do everything by hand - piecing, quilting, applique.

In a couple of days I am leaving for a month long vacation. Would it be too late to submit the block by the end of August?

Beth

What a fabulous idea / opportunity.

WOW this sounds fantastic I will go have alook now

Hi Helen, Sounds like fun. Couple of quick questions. When contacted to do contract work, will they send supplies and the pattern, or just the pattern? Second, regarding the flower above, the center is appliqued and there appears to be a running stitch around the petals. Are the petals appliqued as well? Thanks for the great info and opportunity. ~Kathy

Colourque

Colourque (R) is a techique I developed and use on many of my projects. It is nothing scientific, anyone can do it, it is meant to be fun and easy to do... it is simply using coloured pencils on fabric to get an applique effect. 'Faux Applique' a comprehensive technique book on the method is due for release late November. Watch this space!
