you are quick girls… I know many of you have started but here is the first photo, its so good to see the pattern works! and doesn't it look so nice in mauves..?
in answer to some questions, the fabric I used was a waffle fabric, quite popular here for bath robes, bathroom accessories and the like. You would get it from dressmaking fabric stores rather than patchwork fabric stores I would think. But a wool fabric, or just a nice cotton would be lovely also. Even a print an then use a plainer fabric for the larger oval shape to contrast it.
