Hi Paula, oh I remember there were problems with that last year. Will see if
I can put both up for the next 4 projects. Thanks for reminding me

Another sweet project. I do have one request though. Can the designers set up their PDF files for printing in the US where we have 8.5 x 11 inch paper? Otherwise printing the files as they are shrinks the design and can make it harder to make the projects. Thanks!

Oh I was tempted by that ric rac myself. Tricia thinks I should run
workshops on fabric stashing - the airline method!!! I could have had metres
in my lining today.

Lorraine was there for a while and says she'll be back for the iron bed! Today was very busy after you left. One crazy woman bought nearly ALL the ric-rac we had. I must have measured out about 400 metres of the stuff!! I'll be having nightmares about it. Tricia and I reckon we'll be able to use your method of smuggling fabric next time we get to go away!!
Cheers

Sure was and every flight was delayed!

Hi Anne, yes home about 7pm - every flight delayed and a bumpy landing but
no hassles with luggage anywhere despite my full pockets! Think I could even
have squeezed some of that fabric through!

Glad you had a nice weekend, I really enjoyed it and it was great to see
other women really get something out of it also, have just read Loz's blog
and she sounds really happy with it. did she end up spending?

Now just checking and answering a few hundred emails!

Hi Helen
Hope you had a good trip home. Tricia said you were filling your pockets with patterns before getting into the airport?!
Thanks for a great workshop!

Thanks Helen, am really loving this swap....the patterns are gorgeous - we have such talent in the quilting pool, both here in Oz and abroad! Thank you so much for organising it - it's really a lot of fun!

Colourque

Colourque (R) is a techique I developed and use on many of my projects. It is nothing scientific, anyone can do it, it is meant to be fun and easy to do... it is simply using coloured pencils on fabric to get an applique effect. 'Faux Applique' a comprehensive technique book on the method is due for release late November. Watch this space!
