Sue Daley from Sue Daley Designs and Busyfingers Patchwork brings us our final angel project today. Sue is the Queen of English paper piecing and she has designed this cute little pincushion to add to your collection. But be careful, if you haven't paper pieced before you may be come addicted.

Fibre fill
8 – 1” elongated hexagon pre-cut papers
2 – 1” square pre-cut papers
2 buttons.
Embroidery floss
Press.
With right sides together whip stitch around the outside edges leaving one open to turn right side out.
Remove the papers.
Turn right side out.
Embroider a fly stitch around the square on the seam line on the top only (see photo)
Fill with fibrefill.
Sew the opening closed.
Sew a button in the centre of the top and bottom pulling the thread tightly to pull the centre in.
Don't forget to pop over to Sues blog and say a big thankyou. she has some peeks at some gorgeous new quilts she is taking to Houston next week. Yes, one week today and we hit the skies, so its back to work for me now.
All angels, you now have until the 30th October to finish those projects and get them in the mail to your partners. I know some of you still have not heard anything, I am chasing up where I can but will be away now until the 22nd so will chase them up again after the 30th if things still have not arrived. Please be good angels for me – I know you will.
hugs
Helen
