as promised this is what I finished at Lake Barrington over the weekend…
This simple little Tempter uses backstitch and a variegated thread (I used the Cottage Garden Hugs ‘n Kisses red#1007 in a Perle 12 – you can substitute a DMC 115). It has a raised stem stitch band around the border and I will be putting up a tutorial (by request) for this stitch later in the week – its really very simple and can be used in many situations.
This pattern is available here now and will be in your favourite store very soon. It includes an iron on transfer – did you read my tutorial on these over at Sew we quilt last week? if not it is still there, or for your convenience – there is a link over there on the right sidebar in my Tutorial pages.
So if you are very quick – you could even get it made for Valentines day next week! – or maybe for next year…
hugs and happy stitching…
Helen
