a little farewell for a week or so as I hit the road again – its been very nice having two months at home being a mum and taking some time out for myself – but time to head out to South Australia and Western Australia.
I will be visiting the Australian Machine Quilting Festival on Sunday and Monday – just as a visitor this year (and to help my sister – the organiser – with her packdown)
Tuesday I will be teaching for the lovely Sue at Mallee Country Craft at McLaren vale – She has a pretty full class but I'm sure we can squeeze a couple more in if you have only just heard about it.. We are learning Colourque.
On Wednesday I head to Perth as the Guest Speaker for the West Australian Quilt Guild AGM – mmm a bit nervous here – I do hope you are interested in the life and times of a normal stitcher?
I will be teaching for three days in Perth, Embroidery on Friday and two different Colourque workshops on the Saturday and Sunday. We will learn the basic technique on the Saturday and then experiment with free flowing design, free machine quilting and inktense pencils on the Sunday… its not too late to sign up for these classes – members or non-members are welcome..
Looking forward to meeting you all next week and having some stitchy and colouring fun! I’ll be back with lots of workshop photos for you all to admire..
hugs for today
