I am not a tea drinker, not even a coffee drinker – but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a sociable afternoon tea with friends… I loooove tea cups, lovely homemade goodies and treats and love to set the table with grace and style…
So, if you are like me then I think you will love this new project…
My good designer friend Lynette sent me a bundle of her delicious Hollyhock Cottage fabrics way back in May and I have just gotten round to using them in this special table topper.
It features four simple stitchery's in each corner and some great fun with Prairie Points… I have used the new Quick Points 1” and 2” Prairie Point rulers but of course I have given instructions on how to make them manually if you don’t have the rulers. (they are a lot of fun tho!)
The little table topper measures 28” square so perfect to sit on a hall table or your table for two..
I want to also thank the lovely Joan for testing this pattern (in 2 nights) for me, look at her great version in redwork.
so, have a cuppa with me today….. Oh the pattern is called Tea for Two and includes plenty of iron on transfers for you to quickly get into the stitching bit! (and if you click on the fabric link above you will see a list of stores who are stocking it)
maybe a little giveaway? for every order placed for this pattern in the next week we’ll include a little extra pattern with their order.. (old cover styles)
hugs for today
Helen

What a lovely design :-) I like both colourways, but I think the red is my favourite :-)
