What a magnificent job your sister did! Really superb quilting - I wish I could stroke it. Unfortunately, Houston is about 8000 km away from here :-(
I was really pleased to see you picked the name I suggested and hope the Belle has a Ball in Houston. (Sorry, I could not resist the punch) Just sent you an email with my details.

How gorgeous!! You two sisters certainly work well together. It is beautiful. A-

Helen, it's magnificent!! I have to admit I liked the red one before but now I LOVE this one.
Hope you're on track with everything.

Wowza....would you and your sister like to be my sisters? I would love to have such talented sisters in the family! The quilt is so pretty but the quilting makes it amazing!! Love it!!!

Holy mackeral! The quilting is amazing. I can't wait to see this in person!

Oh my how beautiful!

Talin Biesel

How beautiful. It looks like there is a little bit of everything in it (trapunto, exquisite quilting, piecing, applique). The trapunto really stands out. I enjoyed looking at the workmanship.

Wow!! Your sister did an amazing job. It's wonderful. The quilting really brought out your appliques and border nicely. Bell of the Ball suits it wonderfully. Great job!!!!

Colourque (R) is a techique I developed and use on many of my projects. It is nothing scientific, anyone can do it, it is meant to be fun and easy to do... it is simply using coloured pencils on fabric to get an applique effect. 'Faux Applique' a comprehensive technique book on the method is due for release late November. Watch this space!
