I'm so excited that I found your blog - I am new to wool (and in love) but don't know many stitches - this is just what I need! Thank you for doing it!

Colourque

Colourque (R) is a techique I developed and use on many of my projects. It is nothing scientific, anyone can do it, it is meant to be fun and easy to do... it is simply using coloured pencils on fabric to get an applique effect. 'Faux Applique' a comprehensive technique book on the method is due for release late November. Watch this space!
